Autobiography of the military and public figure, first defense minister of independent Ukraine Kostiantyn Morozov will be presented next month, the Osnovy Publishers reports, as it prepares the book for publication.
The book contains the autobiography of a man whose persistent and courageous decisions have become part of the history of independent Ukraine. The author analyzes his own life, revealing what he, as a boy from an ordinary family, had to go through to move up the career ladder. Morozov uncovers nuances of the Soviet Army’s functioning and tells the reader what pushed him to risk his position and support the initiative to proclaim the independence of Ukraine.
In his preface to the book, the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk writes: “He was not a famous participant of the national liberation movement, but still managed to become a foundation-builder of Ukrainian statehood.”
