Valentyn Nalyvaichenko leads Our Ukraine

The party Our Ukraine convened a congress under the slogan “Renewal for Victory!” on September 24.

The congress elected the political council of the party, comprising 140 persons.

Ex-director of the SBU Valentyn Nalyvaichenko replaced Vira Ulianchenko as the head of the political council.

Another new member of Our Ukraine, the ex-director of Ukrspetseksport Serhii Bondarchuk, became head of the executive committee.

Now, in all likelihood, Nalyvaichenko will be in charge of major image-building projects, while Bondarenko will see to financial and organizational issues.

Hryhorii Omelchenko,Volodymyr Ohryzko, Iryna Vannykova, Vasyl Vovkun, and other “Yushchenko’s men” also joined the party.

The honorary head of the party Viktor Yushchenko apologized for his failure in the presidential election.

“In 2010 a specific man lost, it was me. And that’s all there is to it. You did not lose, nor did the millions of Ukrainians.”

Experts do not rule out the possibility of Nalyvaichenko being the party’s next candidate for presidency.
