Dzyga will conduct a jazz marathon

Starting from December 2 and up to December 12 the 10th International festival Jazz Bez will take place in 13 cities of Ukraine and Poland. Lviv, Kharkiv, Sevastopol, Ternopil, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Uzhhorod, Lublin, Warsaw, Przemysl, Sanok, Nowica will all become a part of a 10-day jazz marathon, the organizers inform. This year Jazz Bez will celebrate its tenth anniversary. For 10 years the festival has managed not only to maintain its topicality, but to broaden the circle of fans of this musical genre every year, drawing new cities into the jazz movement. The goal of Jazz Bez is to gather all possible jazz styles into a motley, yet harmonious composition: swing, fusion, bebop, jazz-rock, funk, cool, free jazz and many others. The participants of Jazz Bez will be the Dzyga Jazz Quartet, Maryna Zaharova & Agabeyli Brothers (Ukraine), The First Sun, and Second Approach Trio (Russia), Full Blast (Germany), LeLa project (Armenia and Ukraine), New Trio, Karolak Quartet, Oktawia, Mencel Trio, Old Rzech Jazz Band (Poland), and BrassBastardz and Lt Acidjazz Orchestra (Latvia). The festival will also see the performances of the Ukrainian-Polish bands Futurethno, Litviniuk Acoustik Jazz, Portrety, the Russian-Ukrainian projects Yurii Yaremchuk and Oleksii Lapin, Tetiana Balakirska & Free-Spoken Band, and the Alex Maksymiv Projekt with the musicians from Canada, Holland and Portugal. The Jazz Bez festival is organized by the Lviv art association Dzyga.
