“IT power and life of a Genius”

That’s the title of the exhibition that will be held in Kyiv museum “Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine” from November 1 through 10. Nineteen participants of the project will present their conceptual vision of the phenomenon of Steve Jobs’ personality, as well as their vision of the IT technology and genius.
The exhibition will feature art works of Oleh Tistol, Serhii Savchenko, Oleksii Sai, Hamlet Zynkovsky, Mykola Matsenko, Inara Bahirova, Artem Volokytin, Volodymyr Hulich, Mykhailo Deiak, Oleksii Zolotariov, Pavlo Kerestei, Vitalii Kokhan, Willy L’Eplattenier, Roman Minin, Viktor Nefedov, Illia Psyfox, Stepan Riabchenko, Oleksii Yaloveha, and Apl315.
According to the organizers of the exhibition, the artists have demonstrated their vision of personality and work of Steve Jobs, IT in art, and the concept of “genius.” For example, a well-known artist Oleh Tistol made a painting depicting a mountain, which is a key motif in his work (he creates a symbolic visual statement on the subject of the peak of human spirit and capabilities).
Mykhailo Deiak created an abstract portrait of Steve Jobs: “I am trying to convey to the audience the philosophical and rather complex nature of Job’s personality, a man with impeccable taste, iron tenacity and confidence.” For example, Oleksii Sai, working in his “excel-art” style, has designed Fabryka Radosti (The Factory of Joy), where the digital and symbolic data are transformed in emotions. Stepan Riabchenko created an installation Prosvit (Clearance) using neon lights, symbolizing a ray of light that fills life with new meaning.
Besides, the exhibition will feature sculpture composition by Oleksii Zolotariov Kut Zoru (Angle of Vision) that symbolizes a non-conventional vision of things and events.
The exhibition will open in a non-standard format of art talk show with artists, experts, architects, collectors, IT specialists, entrepreneurs, and representatives of art institutions participating in it.
