KOZAK SYSTEM presents Ukraine in Moscow and then heads to Canada

On the New Year’s night famous Ukrainian ethno-rock band will perform on the Red Square in Moscow. KOZAK SYSTEM will participate in a large multicultural festival along with Zdob si Zdub, Ivan Kupala, DrymbaDaDzyga – musicians from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Russia. Concert will take place immediately after the striking of the clock and will become a part of the two-week festival event, which will include 1,300 smaller events with five million people participating in them.

On January 7 in Kyiv at the winter festival “Land of Dreams” in the Cossack village “Mamaeva Sloboda” KOZAK SYSTEM and Taras Chubai will present their joint project at the Christmas concert. Press service of the band reports that soon a new CD with this program will be released. At the festival, in addition to the concert, children and adults will be entertained by nativity scenes, guests of the festival will be able to sing by campfires, ride sleigh, and also learn how to make Christmas gifts from craftsmen. “Land of Dreams” also gives an opportunity to feel the genuine culture, true music, pure and sincere holiday spirit, and become aware of your roots.

After Christmas the guys from the band KOZAK SYSTEM will go to Canada to perform at the Malanka festivities in Toronto Historic Palais Royale Ballroom on the shores of Lake Ontario. This concert hall is the most famous centennial ballroom in Toronto, popular center of swing-jazz back in the 1920s, main decoration of the Historic Park Sunnyside, where elegance and romance are combined with the best of contemporary art. The next day the band will give a solo concert in Toronto Lithuanian House.

Musicians from the KOZAK SYSTEM say that the passing year brought their band happy changes and success: appearing on the stage with a new name, numerous concerts, release of their album Shablia, its premiere in one of the best concert halls of Kyiv. By the way, in February the album of KOZAK SYSTEM Shablia will be released in Poland and in April – in Russia.
