Where there is no law, but every man does what is right in his own eyes, there is the least of real liberty

The Postman Always Rings Twice

13 November, 2012 - 00:00

A postal stamp presentation took place last Thursday in the River Palace night club. The stamp has every chances to make into the Guinness Book of Records because of its weight is 110 kg and more importantly, because it is unusual: it is a mosaic consisting of approximately 20,000 regular post stamps.

Roman Vorobiov, author of the idea says the project is a unique one not only because it is without analogy in the world but also because all the stamps are removed from used envelopes which had passed through the whole chain of postal delivery. Thus, they have their own stories and energy. It is the second project of the kind by Vorobiov. The first one is not as large as the last project and for two months has been decorating the lobby of the capital’s main post office.
