SEVEN APPLES...
A mild winter is smoothly turning to spring and the beginning of Lent,
so one must lose no time and get married. We in turn will help you surprise
the newlyweds with an unusual composition of apples.
Minimalism is entering our life more and more. We propagate it not because
we do not want to complicate the process but because sometimes one can
depart from banal esthetic standards.
The idea is simple: it is based on seven, a lucky number. In this case
we use apples: fresh Calvin, the best, at the what price we can get. Together
with them goes greenhouse Dutch horsetail (resembling bamboo very much)
or any kind of light sticks weighing as much as the apples. We can draw
several concentric circles in India ink on the apples. Then we make several
of what we can call antennas by sticking together the horsetail sections
with common PVA glue, and, horsetail stalks being hollow inside, we attach
them firmly to the apples as follows: insert a knitting needle or a nail
into each apple and top it with an antenna. The seven musical notes are
ready: you can play Mendelssohn's march!
There are innumerable variations on such greetings. Instead of apples,
you can use oranges, grapefruits, even watermelons! You can write on the
fruit the newlyweds' names or the date of marriage or put their portraits
on watermelons. Everything is up to you. And we join your congratulations!
