Where there is no law, but every man does what is right in his own eyes, there is the least of real liberty
Henry M. Robert

Unstinting generosity

Ms. Yablonska has been astonishing us for over half a century not only
with a lavish flow of her works but also with being a special kind of an
all-seeing sage whom you always want to identify yourself with. The hero
of her pieces - lyrical, epic, or dramatic - is an irreplaceable interlocutor
to whom you come without fearing sharp intellect or refined feelings. Her
works are also remembered and loved because they have never humiliated
the viewer or ridiculed the humanness of feelings. She is also the most
famous Ukrainian artist who has never broken her heart nor never reached
fever pitch: she continues her sermon of good and beauty quietly, expressively,
and wisely, addressing it to each individual, not the crowd. This is why
Tetiana Yablonska is a true people's artist, the eye of the people.
