World famous Argentine tango stars to perform in Kyiv
On October 17 a gala concert at the Officers Club opens the 4th International Argentine Tango Festival in Kyiv. The event will be held under the aegis of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Ukraine.
This year, the forum will bring together dancers from Argentina, Italy, France, Russia, and Ukraine.
The world’s top tango dancers are going to demonstrate superb choreography, passion, and temptation. The program includes instrumental and vocal tango, waltzes, milongas of different epochs, original Argentine tango, tango Nuevo, popular Russian tango, and of course, brilliant dance numbers.
The famous dance couple Fausto Carpino and Stephanie Fesneau (Italy and France), constant members and organizers of the world’s largest tango festivals, are going to demonstrate their skills in Kyiv. They dance tango de salon as well as stage tango. The duet is distinguished by their grace and elegance, along with stunning technical impeccability.
The audience will also remember Silvina Valz (Argentina), famous dancer, choreographer, actress, and teacher. She has been teaching in Europe, Japan, Russia, the United States, and Buenos Aires for many years. Valz represents a young generation of Argentine tango dancers. Her dance combines elements of traditional and classic styles, it is known for the brilliant technique accompanied by natural flexibility and sensuality. Now Valz works with Diego Pedernera. We are going to see their duet in Kyiv.
Ohla Pankratova, famous for such TV shows as “People’s Star” and “The Voice of the Country” (season 2) will be “the voice” of the festival.
Tango dancers will be accompanied by the special guests of the forum, who conquered Europe, Asia, and Argentina – the Solo Tango Orquesta.
