Bush For Continuing Dialogue With Ukraine

US President George W. Bush has reiterated America’s readiness to strengthen strategic partnership relationship with Ukraine, in part, via dialogue at the highest level. He made a statement to this effect at the November 10 meeting with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Anatoly Zlenko held during the 56th session of the UN General Assembly. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry press service, speaking on behalf of President Leonid Kuchma, Mr. Zlenko expressed solidarity with the American people shouldering the consequences in the aftermath of the September 11 tragedy and supported the US effort to unite the world community in the fight against terrorism. Mr. Bush expressed gratitude to Mr. Kuchma and all Ukrainians for their contribution to the global antiterrorist campaign.
