“The Chain of Kindness”

Before the start of a new school year the largest stationery charity fair “The Chain of Kindness” was held in Kyiv Zoo within the framework of the social project “I Want to Live! I Want to Make Friends! I Want to Enjoy Life!” The fair was organized for orphans, children from poor families, and children in difficult circumstances. The organizers are the Public Platform MoKoLaD. Everyone who came to the fair could buy stationery items and school uniform and give to the children in need before September 1. To provide effective targeted support the organizers made lists of stationery items and school uniforms. The youngest visitors of the fair had the opportunity to participate in a master class on origami. Besides, as a part of the charity event 370 children from orphanages and children’s homes of family type visited Kyiv Zoo for free. The organizers report that thanks to all caring people, who joined “The Chain of Kindness,” children in 13 orphanages received the necessary stationery, children in another three orphanages and those, under supervision of the Social Service of Kyiv oblast, got new school uniforms.
