Bill Clinton has recently stated in an interview with Today show’s host Ann Curry about his new book, Back To Work, that President Barack Obama has “done a better job than he’s getting credit for.” The former pre-sident also outlined his economic plan and said that Obama faces a situation similar to the one his own presidency faced in his first term. “Not much happened. We fought. Then there were two government shutdowns. And the voters decided they agreed with the approach I was taking,” Clinton said. He considers that Obama’s “politics will improve when the eco-nomy gets better.” He added, “But the American people need to send a signal to Congress that they want them to work together — not that he’s right all the time or that I was right.” Meanwhile, he said in an interview to the MSNBC TV channel that American presidents should have the right to be re-elected for a third term.
