Where there is no law, but every man does what is right in his own eyes, there is the least of real liberty

How To Take Care Of Yourself And Your Business

13 November, 2012 - 00:00

There is a tiny island country named Turks and Caicos in the Atlantic Ocean. It belongs to the British crown and is known as an off-shore zone and a good resort. A total of 15,000 citizens works in the tourist industry, fights frequent hurricanes, catches lobsters, and collects rain water in huge tanks because there is no other source of fresh water on the islands.

We learned all this from the all-powerful and knowledgeable Internet on the day when our paper's web site register showed information on readers from that country. Unfortunately, we do not know exactly who our readers were on those islands: they visited our Internet page but never sent us a message.

We always look forward to letters from our readers, just as we hope they look forward to every new issue of The Day. Every day our editorial office receives e-mail messages from all over the world-in fact, according to our register, readers from about 100 countries have made contact with us to date. Calling us the most professional and convincing, some of them offer advice and some criticize us. The most important thing, however, is that our audience is growing. Only a few months ago we registered about 250 visits a day, and now our web site is visited by almost 400 people daily. The Day enjoys a high rating on many international registers that keep track of electronic media readership. Sometimes our paper is the only Ukrainian periodical visited in the Internet.

Our visitors also ask us many questions. They often inquire if they can place ads on the Internet with our help. Here is our answer: yes, you can. And you should, because our page with your ad will immediately appear on computer monitors in Japan, the United States, Vatican, Singapore, and even in Antigua and Barbados. We do not know who visited our site in the small, but certainly not poor island country of Turks and Caicos, but it may very well have been your potential business partner.

The Day places advertisements not only in its paper versions but also in the electronic one. Feel free to contact us with your suggestions at the following e-mail address: master@dday.kiev.ua
