Mashab Hurries to Help Ukraine

The Israeli Center for International Cooperation (Mashab) in Kyiv marked its forty years of activity including in Ukraine. Created in 1958 on the initiative of Prime Minister Golda Meir, the organization assists developing countries solve problems common to all humanity with the aid of experts and technology. Today Mashab is active in 143 countries. "In Ukraine the organization has already been active for four years, and the number of participants in its instructional programs keeps growing," said Zvi Mahen, Israeli ambassador to Ukraine. He added that this year Israel is hosting 30 Ukrainians for training there, while another 70 are studying at Mashab programs in Ukraine.
