MYKHAILO BRODSKY WILL BE IN PARLIAMENT

Always controversial Mykhailo Brodsky, President of the
Dendy Corporation and co-owner of the popular newspaper, Kievskie
Vedomosti, made headlines after his arrest on the eve of
the elections. The man became even more popular after getting
elected in a Kyiv district while sitting in a detention cell
in Zhytomyr. The authorities, however, kept him incarcerated
even when officially confirmed as a Ukrainian People’s
Deputy, with the attendant personal immunity. His release
became another political fiasco of the current
administration. Mykhailo Brodsky will sit in Parliament, not
in prison, and there is no denying the fact.
