During the press conference in Simferopol new head of OSCE mission Charles Maggee claimed that the Crimea with its existing problems would still draw the mission's utmost attention.
The mission is already dealing with the issues concerning citizenship and return of the deported nations. In addition to the problems of the Crimean Tatars, this mission is also concerned with the life of other national minority groups in the Crimea.
The ambassador stressed that at the same time some new aspects of the mission's work have become visible. According to him they are establishing a relationship with the Crimean government to determine what kind of economic assistance it needs.
According to Interfax-Ukraine the head of the mission did not rule out the possibility of helping the Ukrainian government in various ways.
