Photographers from around the world present life in their countries

The 2nd International Photo Exhibit “Panorama of my Country-2011” has begun. The organizers are the National Union of Photoartists of Ukraine and the direction of Kyiv PHOTOFAIR, under the patronage of the International Photo Movement “Image without Borders” (ISF — Images sans Frontieres). The aim of the exhibit is to portray the specifics of each country: national coloring, traditions, ethnic characteristics, history, landscapes, people, events, architecture and so on. Photographers from all over the world are invited to take part in the competition. The theme of the exhibit is unrestricted. The contest will be held in two sections: in panoramic and traditional formats. The deadline for submitting the works is April 11, 2011. According to the organizing committee, members of the jury will include such renowned masters of photography as Jacques Vanneuville (France), Lubomir Schmida (Slovakia), Pavlo Tarasov (Ukraine), Roman Mykhailiuk (Ukraine), Stefan Toth (Romania) and Yevhen Zubenko (Ukraine). The award ceremony will take place on May 5 at the Kyiv PHOTOFAIR. The winners will be awarded with medals and diplomas of the International Photo Movement Images sans Frontieres and the National Union of Photoartists of Ukraine (NUPAU), which will be supplemented with prizes from the sponsors and with diplomas of the Kyiv PHOTOFAIR.
