Reader Writes In

03 April, 00:00

Good day, The Day newspaper,

My name is Dilyara. I live in Zuya village, Belohorsk district, Autonomous Republic of the Crimea. I’m an ordinary Crimean Tatar girl.

Occasionally, I bought one of your issues last year and until now I read The Day in English every week never missing any of your issues.

You (I mean the editorial office) are doing a great deal; you write about objective information on Ukraine’s political life; people connected with Ukraine and their opinion on Ukrainian political and social situation. In this newspaper we, readers, can find such interesting parts as Culture, Society, and Sports. And all these you are writing in English, a foreign language for us, which it has become necessary to know now.

You are helping not only teachers, students, or politicians (who, I believe, compulsorily read your interesting newspaper), but also for those who have basic knowledge and want to extend it. And you pointed out that The Day weekly makes it possible to study and improve our (readers) English. I think this is true. My friends and I advise everyone to buy the newspaper.

Coming to core, I want to express my enormous and sincere gratitude to the entire editorial office of The Day for such a splendid, remarkable newspaper.

Yours truly and constant reader.

PS. I also congratulate the English edition of The Day on its third anniversary. I should like to give my best wishes for a successful future and power for further work!
