Three visions: folk, professional, and amateur

NationalCenter of Folk Culture “Ivan Honchar Museum” invites Kyiv residents and tourists to the exhibition of paintings by three original masters on December 27.

“Line of Landscape” is the title of the exhibit showcasing the works by Maria Pryimachenko, Oleksandr Babak, and Mykola Shchehlov. The organizers of the vernissage told The Day that if the color runs thoroughly through Ukrainian mentality, landscape fills it with spiritual essence.

Memory retains unchanged the patterns of the places where formation of personality took place – along with other major categories they represent the concept of homeland, fundamental to all of us. Changing in the mind of an artist, landscape acquires features of an artistic image, which combines individual and collective experience of the nation.
