November 20: 1991. The First All-Ukrainian Inter-Religious Forum started its work.

1994. The Charter On Ukrainian-American Partnership, Friendship, and Cooperation was signed.

November 21. Day of Archangel Michael, patron saint of Kyiv.

1764. The tsar’s edict on liquidating Hetmanate in Ukraine was issued.

1996. The Ukraine to Children National Fund for the Social Protection of Mothers and Children was created.

November 22: 1655. Bohdan Khmelnytsky held negotiations with the Crimean Khan on Khanate’s neutrality in Cossacks’ war against Poland.

1901. A students’ demonstration took place in Kharkiv protesting the harassment of Maksim Gorki by the tsarist government.

November 23: 1963. The St. Clement Ukrainian Catholic University was founded in Rome.

1990. A meeting of parliamentary delegations of democratic forces from Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia began in Minsk.

November 24: 1977. The Council of Ministers of the USSR passed a decision on delivering free textbooks to the pupils of general education schools.

November 25: 1905. The first issue of Khliborob [Farmer], the first Ukrainian language newspaper in Dnipro Ukraine, came off the presses in Lubny.

1917. A decision was signed on printing Ukraine’s own banknotes.

November 26: 1901. Students in Lviv demanded the creation of a Ukrainian university.

1944. First Congress of Delegates of People’s Committees in Transcarpathian Ukraine issued a manifesto On Reunification of Western and Soviet Ukraine.
