November 28: 1921. The Ukrainian SSR joined the International Red Cross Convention.

1994. The first sitting of the Constitutional Commission officially renewed the constitutional process in Ukraine.

November 29: 1905. Sailors mutinied onboard the cruiser Ochakov and other Black Sea Fleet ships stationed in Sevastopol.

1939. The USSR broke diplomatic relations with Finland as a prelude to military attack.

November 30: 1944. Metropolitan Yosyp Slipy became head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

1996. The President of Ukraine decreed the establishment of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

December 1: 1991. The people of Ukraine expressed their will in the referendum, confirming the Act on the Proclamation of Independence of Ukraine, and Leonid Kravchuk was elected President of Ukraine.

December 2: 1015. Prince Yaroslav the Wise ascended the throne of the Grand Prince of Kyiv.

1917. An extraordinary session of the UNR Small Council passed a law on amnesty.

December 3: 1932. The Ukrainian SSR Council of People’s Commissars resolved to ban meat and cattle trade in all Ukrainian regions which failed to meet the meat procurement planned targets, exacerbating food shortages and contributing to the Manmade Famine of 1932- 33.

1976. The Moskovsky Bridge over the Dnipro was commissioned in Kyiv.

December 4: 1638. The Cossack council approved “Ordinations of the Forces of Registered Cossack “ in the village of Masliv Stav.
