in Vienna to found the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN). January

the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolves to institute the yellow-blue
national flag. January 29: Firefighters' Day January 29, 1918: a
volunteer student detachment of about 300 from Kyiv engages Bolshevik forces
