WILL UKRAINE START SELLING LAND?

“I have an absolutely normal attitude toward the President
signing this kind of decree. It is one positive long-term action. I think
the President will take this step in the future, for the proclamation of
this decree should be preceded by amendments to the laws. This point has
already been solved politically, but it still needs to be specified in
terms of law. This decree is unlikely to break the ground in the nearest
time, for I think we don’t have yet the material basis for a wide ranging
privatization of the land, so the implementation of this decree will result
in serious problems. Thus I don’t think this decree will be in force as
early as tomorrow, but the IMF will surely like this step.”
