The Yalta Conference of 1945 symbolized the division of the postwar world into bipolar spheres of influence. The Yalta summit on Black Sea economic cooperation which ended last Friday was an attempt to settle conflicts and work out new ways of cooperation among the eleven member states. The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization will henceforth have its permanent headquarters in Istanbul and bank account in Thessaloniki reports Viktor Zamiatin, The Day. At the summit President Kuchma met with the Presidents of Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Moldova, Greece, and Russia.
