Brovary Road Builders Net European Laurels

Brussels has hosted the Forum of the European Quality Control Fund, crowned with a solemn ceremony of awarding the European Quality Prize.

For the first time in history, this award was conferred on a former Soviet enterprise, officially recognized as one of Europe's best in the small and medium enterprise (up to 250 employees) category. It is Road Construction Authority No. 50 from Brovary, Kyiv oblast, headed by Viktor Havrylenko. As judged by professional experts from France, Germany, Belgium, and Turkey, it was shortlisted among six finalists for the European Prize for Quality, the only award officially recognized and supported by the European Commission. A total of about forty leading firms from various countries of Europe competed for this award in this category. Road Construction Authority No. 50 was sent to take part in the European Quality Contest by the Ukrainian Quality Association as winner of the third Ukrainian national quality contest.
