IMF First Deputy Executive Director Stanley Fisher declared that the IMF and Ukrainian government “have agreed on the EFF program”. However, according to him, “some technical problems that need time” remain. Fisher reported that the IMF mission headed by Shadman Valavy will come to Kyiv late July to check the fulfillment conditions for the loan. After this work is completed, the board of directors will consider granting the EFF loan. According to Fisher, the bank anticipates loaning $2 billion in three years, Interfax-Ukraine informs.
