Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Beats Russian Gosduma in Soccer

27 October, 00:00

Ukrainian parliament members won the game four to one. The game, held last week between colleagues-competitors, was already the fourth. Ukrainians managed to win two out of three previous games and lose only once. The guests were eager to reestablish the status quo and to avenge Ukraine for defeating the Russian national soccer team. Andriy Biba, former Kyiv Dynamo player, coached the Ukrainian Parliament team, while Russian politicians were trained by current Volgograd Rotor coach Viktor Prokopenko. Anatoly Matviyenko, the chairman of the People's Democratic Party faction and Vladimir Altukhov of Nash Dom — Rossia (Russia is our Home) faction were announced the MVPs of the game.
