Yesterday in the State Administration building the two Ukrainian boxing brothers Vitaly and Volodymyr Klychko presented their native city their sports trophies. Volodymyr gave his Olympic gold medal from the 1996 Atlanta Games, and Vitaly his intercontinental WBO Champion’s Belt to City State Administration Chairman Oleksandr Omelchenko. These presents will be exhibited at the Museum of the History of Kyiv. The Ukrainian boxers now playing for a German boxing club have made their entry into the World League. They also showed thousands of their fans that boxers have other options than to become racketeers.
