KLYCHKO PUNISHED OFFENDER IN US FIGHT The Klychko brothers continue their victorious march to the sanctum sanctorum of professional boxing, the USA

13 November, 2012 - 00:00

The first fight of the younger brother, 22 year old Volodymyr Klychko showed that they did not come to play. In Marxville he met Carlos Monroe from California. A year ago this boxer was disqualified for head hitting Volodymyr in sixth round. This time Klychko was ready and knocked him down in the first round. Then people had an impression that Klychko was taking his time before knocking him out in the sixth round. Until this fight, no one managed to beat Monroe by a knockout.

The older brother, 27 year old Vitaly was quicker. In Miami he met Tony Tubbs of Florida. Naturally 2,500 people who gathered in the local sports palace expected to see an interesting fight by their beloved athlete. Tubbs represents the local Mike Acre Boxing Promotion club and some people had never even heard of the successful Ukrainian fighter. They were disappointed, because their Black Devil Tony failed to satisfy them with another victory. In the end of the first round Vitaly performed a series of hard blows to the head knocking out his opponent, an ex-WBA champion who had beaten even Mike Tyson.

As we see, Vitaly and Volodymyr do not care much for their opponents titles, and their 21 victories in professional ring are the best proof of it.
