Ukrainian cyclist racer Serhiy Honchar won the 21st leg of the Juro d’Italia race in Lugano, Switzerland. He covered the 34 kilometer distance in 39:54 at an average speed of 51.128 kilometers per hour. Mark Pantani of Italy won the whole race due to his successful mountain legs. He kept the leading after the last 173 kilometer leg between Lugano and Milan. Pavel Tonkov of Russia was second in the summary. Serhiy Honchar came in 10th after leading a number of legs during the race.
