Friends, gathered by Camouflage
The Day’s photo exhibit demonstratedUkraine’s Armed Forces marked their professional holiday on Dec.6. After the meeting with the President and all the necessary honors some defendants of the Fatherland went on celebrating in the family circle, somebody in the colleagues’ circle, somebody in the friends’ circle. The magazine Camouflage was not an exclusion. Besides, the magazine’s direction managed to unite all three elements in one... hall. For
Camouflage organizes a patronage charity concert on the occasion of the feast. It has already become a nice tradition to gather in the House of Officers every year and feel the support of Camouflage’s friends and partners. This year, The Day not just acted like an informational partner, but presented its photo exhibition in one of the halls of the House of Officers. Every interested had a possibility to look at the works. And some of them shared their impressions with The Day’s:
Serhii BABAKOV, the creative director of Camouflage:
“Today the number of good cameras is growing, but there are few brilliant photographers. I liked the exhibit very much because there were many authors from the regions. If everyone has tried to be equal to the capital, today we see very good works of the photographers from some remote village, small town. In this respect, I think, The Day is doing a great cause. It gives the possibility of self-realization to those living in Ukraine’s remotest corners and has overgrown the local limits. It gives the possibility to compare your own works with your colleagues’ works and to perfect yourself. It is a very nice cause, all the more, it has been continuing for several years. Being a photographer, i am fond of finding anything new and interesting in The Day’s exhibits. One should note the very apt inscriptions, they rise the works level immediately.”
Oksana YAKUBOVSKA, PR director of Yakubovsky House:
“The exhibit is very interesting, rich, of many aspects. It is pleasant that whole Ukraine is represented on the photographs. Ukrainians are real, life is shown without decoration, however, it is exciting and unsurpassed. I note Volodymyr Falin’s photo work “Three Minutes Before the Concert.”

By the way, these were not the only surprises by the organizers of the event. The concert was broadcast live in the Internet, the band S.K.A.I., Pavlo Zibrov, Haitana and many other popular singers presented their songs for the audience.
