The Day regularly writes about abandoned and homeless animals. Not to make readers feel sorry, but with a pragmatic purpose: to find homes and owners for homeless animals, with the help of enthusiast Lilia Yemelianenko and her organization. We are really happy when we succeed in this. It means that one of our readers decided to do a good thing, and kindness once again triumphed over evil. It seems to us that the photos of our readers, sent for the photo competition, will make us look around us more attentively and see those who need our help. Don’t be afraid of doing good deeds. It is difficult only the first time.
