Of course, the ranking is topped by the most original and interesting content. Google has recently published the final ranking of most popular videos watched on YouTube video hosting during 2012 by the Internet users from all over the world. According to their data, music videos by South-Korean performer PSY enjoyed this highest popularity, in particular, his video Gangnam Style M/V was watched 983,100,000 times. Namely this video is on the top of the ranking.

 If one analyzes other videos from the ranking, it will become clear that various cover versions and parodies, as well as music videos, and videos showing amusing incidents with politicians, and non-professional artistic plots created by YouTube users are the most popular. Incidentally, amator videos from the visitors of YouTube, according to Google, are mostly dedicated to socio-political topics: these are artistic author’s projects or satire on public persons.

 It is gratifying that YouTube has finally entered the Ukrainian market, having launched the domain YouTube.ua. For Internet users from our country it above all gives an opportunity to have Ukrainian-language service (understandable local recommendations) and use to the full extent the advertising potential of this platform.
