Money for Soccer

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution establishing the procedure of budget allocations for Ukraine’s participation in the tender submitted to host the 2012 European Soccer Cup Finals (Ukraine and Poland have submitted a joint bid), reports www.champion.com.ua , quoting ITAR-TARS. Funds will be channeled toward the preparation of a dossier for Ukraine’s participation in the second round of the competition, organizing an exhibition stand, holding presentations at the UEFA Congress and Executive Committee, accommodating UEFA officials in Ukraine, designing and maintaining a joint Ukrainian-Polish Web site, and organizing a publicity campaign in Ukraine. Some 3,000 dollars have been allocated for this.
