World Remains Silent About Serbian Death and Suffering

18 травня, 00:00
Yugoslav Ambassador to Ukraine says When covering the current Balkan crisis, the mass media in many countries for some reason show interest only in the fate of Kosovo Albanians, Ambassador of the Union Republic of Yugoslavia to Ukraine Gojko Dapcevic says. The death and suffering of Serbian civilians do not interest them.

Meanwhile, as Yugoslav Embassy in Ukraine informed The Day, "The NATO aggressors have killed over 1,200 and wounded more than 5,000 civilians (many of whom have been made invalids). Over 1,000 private houses and apartments have been ruined." Children are the most vulnerable category. And it is they who suffer most from the barbarous policy of bombing. 19 children were killed in a refugee column near Jakovice alone, 12 children in Surdulitsa, and 9 in Kursumlia during bombardment. And this list can be continued further and further. NATO bombardments are directed not only and not so much against military facilities, as against civilians in order to create impossible living conditions for them and, thus, shake the stiff resistance of the population to the NATO aggression.
