Petro Poroshenko arranged arms deliveries from the UAE

During his working visit to the UAE, President Poroshenko arranged with that nation’s leadership deliveries of certain weapons and types of military equipment. As advisor to the minister of internal affairs Anton Herashchenko posted on Facebook, the agreement was reached with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Colonel-General Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Types and volumes to be delivered have not been disclosed. Furthermore, Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the UAE Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in energy, defense, and agriculture. The Ukrainian head of state also visited IDEX-2015, one of the world’s largest exhibitions of arms and security technologies, which is going on in Abu Dhabi.
