September 22: 1935. The Botanical Garden was founded in Kyiv as a part of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
1993. The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered the All-Ukrainian Entrepreneurs’ Union.
September 23: 1919. A joint session of the Direktoriya and governments of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and Western Ukrainian People’s Republic passed a decision to start immediately military actions against Denikin’s army.
1943. The troops of the Steppe and Voronezh Fronts liberated Poltava.
