Approximately 50 Easter eggs, all using unique designs, have gone on display in Lviv

The 7th annual Festival of Easter Eggs has opened in Lviv’s Muzeina Square. A purpose-built raised platform accommodates about four dozen half-meter and meter-high Easter eggs of varying designs which have been put on display for citizens and visitors of Lviv. All are unique and were created by renowned artists or prominent people as well as various organizations. The organizers have been unable to hold the festival at full capacity this year due to inclement weather. To avoid rain damage, the full line of Easter eggs was not exhibited until recently. Also, this year’s festival has expanded to new locations. Several dozen more unique Easter eggs have been put on display in one of Lviv’s shopping centers.

The festival has a charitable component as well. It hosts the Good Cause campaign, aimed at raising funds to help those who really need assistance. This year, the funds are raised to help the children’s ward of the OKHMATDYT, Lviv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.
