“Book Spring”

The literary forum starts today at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv. Look for the new books from Den’s Library at the stand No. 87-B

Many interesting actions and meetings await the visitors of the book fair “Kyiv Spring 2016.” During the charity chronicle-marathon “To live. Understanding Kyiv,” dedicated to the publication of an eponymous book, writer Ivan Drach, actor Ada Rohovtseva and Larysa Kadochnykova, TV host Tetiana Tsymbal, president of the National League of Professional Boxing of Ukraine Mykhailo Zavialov, and other Kyivites will recall the past of the capital. The guests will have an opportunity to communicate and take the autographs of Yurii Mushketyk, Mykhailo Slaboshpytsky, Pavlo Movchan, Dmytro Pavlychko, Liubov Holota, Serhii Hrabar, Anatolii Sakhno, Oleksandr Yesaulov, Vasyl Ruban, Serhii Tsushko, Sashko Dermansky, Natalia Osmak, and Natalia Krutenko within the framework of the Literary Salon. Some publications will be sold at considerable discount during the exhibit. The organization of “Kyiv Spring 2016” was undertaken by State Enterprise “Ukrainian House” and the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine. Over 70 publishing houses have been invited to take part in the event.

At the stand of the newspaper Den the visitors will be able to buy most recent publications which have already won popularity among readers: “The Trap,” or A Case without a Statute of Limitations from the series “Contemporary History for Dummies” (compiler Ivan Kapsamun), Catastrophe and Triumph. The Stories of Ukrainian Heroes (compiler Maria Semenchenko), I, an Eyewitness. Notes from the Occupied Luhansk authored by Valentyn Torba, as well as the fundamental publication Return to Tsarhorod. Apart from that, the new issue of Route No. 1. “Rukhanka-Style” will be available. The visitors will have an opportunity to subscribe to the newspaper and send books for the servicemen at the frontline and to the libraries in the east of Ukraine.

The exhibit will be underway for four days, February 25 through 28, at 2 Khreshchatyk Street. The admission is free. Everyone is welcome to visit the stand of the newspaper Den.
