As we were going to press, it was officially confirmed that two protesters on Hrushevskoho Street had died. UNN quotes Vitalii Mokhorev, director of the Public Health Department of the Kyiv City Administration, as saying that they received heavy injuries.

“As for the nature of wounds and the circumstances that led to them, it is up to the police to make a conclusion. We can only say that it was a non-lethal injury and – whether or not it was a gunshot wound – it is the job of the law-enforcement bodies and forensic experts,” Mokhorev noted.
