Ostroh audience is looking forward to the launch of the newest books from Den’s Library, including Ukraine Incognita. TOP-25, new edition of Klara Gudzyk’s Apocrypha, and the photo album People of the Maidan. A Chronicle, because these books have already caused quite a stir in Ukrainian intellectual space.

Den/The Day’s editor-in-chief has accepted the invitation of the National University of Ostroh Academy, because cooperation of the newspaper with the academy is a whole history of a long-time intellectual friendship. There have been many meetings and a range of joint projects have been accomplished, in particular, the Ostroh Club of Free Intellectual Communication of Youth. It will be reminded that Den/The Day’s editor-in-chief is a co-chairperson of the Monitoring Council of Ostroh Academy, and the students of the university take part in Den’s Summer School of Journalism, and some graduates already work as the journalists of the newspaper. The Ostroh Academy traditionally supports the annual International Photo Competition organized by the newspaper. Larysa Ivshyna’s visits leave a peculiar memory, because it is always full of storms of questions, fresh opinions and lively discussion, accordant with the sociopolitical reality.

“For me Larysa Ivshyna’s visit is an event. First, she never comes without a reason. Her every visit is distinguished with something new, high-quality, and, most importantly, Ukrainian. Secondly, the newspaper Den and the Ostroh Academy have been closely cooperating for a long time, therefore the meeting with Larysa Ivshyna is another opportunity for exchange of ideas and discussion of the ways of their realization. After all, Ms. Ivshyna is a very interesting person who can teach us many things. I am sure that the meeting will be interesting, informative, and useful both for the students of journalism, and those who major in other professions,” journalism student Ruslana Marynych gives her forecast.

Incidentally, some witty students have already bought and read new books from Den’s Library. So, the discussion is supposed to be really rich in content and productive. It will take place in the assembly hall of the university at 14:00 and will be attended by students of all departments, professors, and teachers of the university.
