Shevchenko and I

All-Ukrainian NGO Literary Association “Kobzar” announced a Ukrainian prose competition “Workshop of Wonders 2013.” The event’s theme is defined as “Shevchenko and I.” Works should be sent before January 15, 2014. The winner will receive a cash prize worth 1,000 hryvnias and paper books by the jury members, while holders of the second and third places will get electronic books. The jury includes its chair Stanislav Rosovetsky, a famous Ukrainian writer, novelist and playwright, researcher of Shevchenko, professor at the Shevchenko National University; Tymur Lytovchenko, a well-known Ukrainian science fiction writer, member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, deputy chair of the Adventure and Science Fiction Writers’ Creative Club at the Kyiv branch of the National Writers’ Union of Ukraine, chair of the science fiction club Milky Way; and Dmytro Papeta, a famous Ukrainian public figure, philosopher, publicist, chair of the Ukrainian Language and Literature Teachers and Lecturers’ Association and the Literary Association “Kobzar.” For details about the competition, please visit http://kobzary.com.ua/?q=polozhennya-pro-konkurs-maisternya-chudes-2013.
