Cornflower with character

A combat training of mortar units of the 25th Airborne Brigade of High Mobile Paratroop Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is underway in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, reportedly by the press service of the Ministry of Defense. At one of the shooting grounds the gunners of the automatic smoothbore mortars 2B9 Vasilek (Cornflower), manned by mobilized servicemen, perform field firing in different regimes: single-shot fire and automatic fire. According to the commanding officer of the fire unit, the paratrooper artillerists practice the tasks and regulations on deployment of armament, the entire guidance system, firing, and quick change of the artillery position.
