Seventeen-year old Maryna Zanevska, together with the Russian Irina Khromacheva, defeated the Russian-Dutch couple Victoria Kan/Demi Schuurs (6:4, 7:5) in the Junior Roland Garros-2011, www.epochtimes. com.ua reports, referring to www.sapronov-tennis.org. The tandem of our compatriot was seeded second. The girls spent both sets in a persistent confrontation, in which Maryna and Irina proved to be stronger and became champions. Zanevska and Khromacheva celebrated for almost an hour and a half. As it is known, this is not the first victory of the Ukrainian player in junior doubles. In 2009 she became the champion of the US Open. It should also be reminded that last year for the first time our junior tennis player became the champion of Roland Garros in singles. Elina Svitolina of Kharkiv defeated Tunisian Ons Jaber (6:2,7:5).
