I began reading your newspaper on the Net about a year and a half ago. I have come to regard your paper as one of, if not the greatest illumination in the secular global press. The insights you provide are priceless. The balance to attain integrity has no equal. There have been so many, many excellent articles that I wish to only cite one from a few months ago where you discuss the Roman Catholic — Russian Orthodox struggle for suzerainity in Ukraine. Your observations to the effect that Constantinople chartered the first Church in Kiev 1,000 years ago and therefore, in spite of the temporal eclipse of Mongol invasions Russian Czarist Feudalism (Old Rome) and Communism (Old Rome), the Ukrainian people have the right to seek religious autonomy within spirit of Orthodoxy. Your observations also included the admonishment to your own Ukrainians not to repeat the ways of the flawed old past but to reach up and rise up and restore the Faith of the New Rome. Sirs, you’ll bring the whole world with you. Thank you for your efforts in journalism. They are pearls, and I shall endeavor that they are never cast in vain.
