A dustbin challenge

On September 16 near the parliament building the activists caught former member of the Party of Regions Vitalii Zhuravsky and put him into a dustbin. The outraged crowd prevented the MP from getting out of the dustbin. “You caused this bloodshed! We are living in this country!” the people were yelling. “We are at work,” the MP said, holding his briefcase tightly. Larysa IVSHYNA, The Day’s editor-in-chief called this improvised performance a “dustbin challenger”: “This is sad and unpleasant. We don’t encourage this. But, after all, this is not a guillotine.”
