1909: Serge Diaghilev launches the famous Ballets Russes in Paris.

1918: The Soviet of People’s Commissars of Russia adopts a decree establishing the Labor Inspectorate.

1919: The Soviet of People’s Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR adopts a decree transferring the property of the monasteries, convents, churches, and other religious organizations to the People’s Commissariat of Social Security.

1934: The Ukrainian newspaper Nash klych starts being published in Argentina.

1935: The Special Meeting of the NKVD sentences Yurii Kotsiubynsky to five years of exile in western Siberia for participating in a “counterrevolutionary Trotskyite organization.”
