The world karate championship has ended in Orlando, Florida, with competitors from 28 countries participating. Our fellow Ukrainians are bringing home 1 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze medals. Mykola Bardachenko from the Kyiv Suputnyk club won first place. He and teammates Viktor Norenko, Ruslan Huliyev, and Ruslan Riabko took second place in team fighting. The Ukrainian national team was the youngest team at the tournament with an average age of 19 years.
