TRAPS ALREADY SET IN NEW PARLIAMENT

The main issue by the time the new Parliament is convened remains who will side with who, meaning primarily the nonaffiliated members who got their seats via majority constituencies. Some of these Deputies (e.g., Dmytro Tabachnyk or Yuri Spizhenko) have sufficient reasons to choose among factions, while many others lack sufficient backing to resist thinly veiled hints at the possibility of revising election results in their respective districts or that business structures close to them might just start having problems with tax authorities. Unless... Carrot and stick tactics, to be sure. Some will be content with the carrot, but there also will be others, independent-minded enough to stick to their own choice. Time will tell.
