As Infobank was told at the State Statistics Committee, the February 1998 inflation rate in Ukraine was 0.2%. In January, the figure was 1.3%. The inflation rate for December, 1997 was 1.4% and for all of 1997 —10.1%. In 1998, the Ukrainian government plans not to allow annual inflation exceed 18%.
